eMazzanti Sponsors United Way Comedy Night for Disaster Relief Fund

eMazzanti Technologies, an IT support and computer consultant in Hoboken, NJ and NYC areas, sponsored United Way Comedy Night for new disaster relief fund raiser

Hoboken, New Jersey - (Vocus) June 1, 2013 — eMazzanti Technologies today announced its sponsorship of a special United Way Comedy Night to begin building an emergency fund in the local area for emergencies that may occur like Hurricane Sandy.  Hurricane Sandy hit the east coast of the US on October 29, 2012 causing more than $70 billion in damages.

“Area businesses need to unite together in times of crisis,” says Jennifer Mazzanti, president. “Hurricanes Sandy, Irene and winter storm Nemo taught us that lesson in recent years. Raising money to help build this disaster fund is important to all of our futures.”

The United Way Comedy Night event took place on Thursday, May 30th, 2013 at the Hoboken, NJ Elks Club from 6:30- 9 pm. The theme for the night of entertainment was: Losing it…and Taking it All Back and was written and performed by Deborah Maclean and directed by Paul Murphy.

eMazzanti’s sponsorship helped offset the overhead of the comedy nights’ food and drinks so that 100% of the proceeds went directly to disaster fund.  The comedy night was attended by local public officials and other supporters of the United Way as well as the general public.
