The NJMEP National Manufacturing Day program is scheduled to run from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm on Friday, October 5, 2018 at The Marigold, 315 Churchill Avenue in Somerset, New Jersey.
The annual event brings together manufacturers, students, supporters and industry expert speakers. The proceedings will also include the announcement of NJMEP manufacturing award winners, and sponsors will briefly address the gathering.
Informative breakout sessions will tackle current manufacturing topics, including tariffs, food safety, red tape, recruiting, tax reform, employment law, women in manufacturing and driving industry growth through innovative technology, education and government support.

The award honors those who “use innovation to improve business, better the NJ manufacturing community, or positively impact a STEM-related field.” The winner will be announced during the program.
